Thanksgiving
Easy to read, but good depth for a 8-12 yr. old reader. Simple questions as the chapters are extremely short, but they do reinforce key points and ideas. Looking forward to reading this aloud as a family each year at Thanksgiving time! Blessings CLP :)

Truth about the Pilgrims
We homeschooled our twins that are now in college. Because we loved learning from this book so much I will be leading a class at my church this fall about how providentially the Lord prepared, lead and sustained the Pilgrims. The stories are enjoyable to read and learn from - plus questions that make one ponder on.

Good book for middle graders
I had read this book aloud to my girls when they were younger, but I think they will understand and appreciate it more now that they are 8 and 9 years old. This book gives a great overview of the progress and trials of the Pilgrims from England to Holland and then to America. I really appreciate that there are review questions included so that I have the option of using it for more than just a historical reader, too.
