Composite Scoring:
Christian Liberty has added the composite score option in response to some state and local school requirements.** This score is calculated from the raw scores of the individual sections of the California Achievement Test. Composite score results are displayed in raw score, percentile, and stanine rank formats. A grade equivalent composite score is not available.
What is Composite Scoring?
** Christian Liberty does not require a composite score for enrollment into its homeschool academy.
Recommendation Service:
If you are unsure which curriculum materials to choose based on the achievement test scores, Christian Liberty offers a curriculum recommendation service to provide guidance in this area. This service provides a subject-by-subject listing of recommended curriculum materials (from those offered through Christian Liberty) based solely on the CAT scores.
The recommendation service can take a few business days to complete and may delay the arrival of your test scores.
After testing is completed:
If you decide to enroll your student into Christian Liberty Homeschools (CLH) within six months after receiving the test results, the cost of the test will be deducted from your student's tuition fee. However, if you enroll your student in a grade level using a different test than the one originally taken, the test cost will not be deducted from your student's tuition fee.

Take California Acheivement test @ Home!
It was SO wonderful to have my children take the CAT without stress of going to a strange place, listening to the instructions over & over, and on the parent's time-table not a "scheduled" time. Be careful about the time though, because it IS running even though the clock is not changing!!! Also, be aware if your children are not use to taking computer tests, this will slow them down & "count against the clock"!

SUPER EASY!
I had to test my daughter this year for the 1st time. This test was super easy to do! Great price and you get the results immediately (as promised). I will totally be using this again!

Easier Than I Expected
My three kids took different levels of the CAT online and all three really seemed to like doing it that way. It was easier than going back and forth between the test booklet and the answer key. The only problem I had was that I couldn't figure out how to make the print bigger until after the first test.

Great! Delivery problem though
In my opinion, this is the best way to do required testing! We had an issue with not getting the test though and I had to call to clear it up. They got it for me right away! Great customer service!

great way to test
I really liked clicking on the answer instead of filling in circles with a pencil. It was so much faster, and I had the results immediately. I will definitely order online CATests from now on.

a breeze to use
This was our first time using the online version of the CAT and it could not have been easier. I also really liked that the results were available instantaneously. The only drawback that I can think of is that you can't just glance ahead, as you would in the booklet, to see if there are easier questions ahead that you might want to go on to. You can move forward and then come back, but you can only see one problem per page, and since it's a timed test, this isn't the best use of time.

Good for ADHD
I have two children with ADHD. This was much easier than filling in circles. They had more time to concentrate on the question. They were excited to see the results right away.

Love it
Love it:) It was easy for my children and much less confusion to them than the written test. The ease of testing this year was amazing to me. I don't think I'll dread it anymore.
