Composite Scoring:
Christian Liberty has added the composite score option in response to some state and local school requirements.** This score is calculated from the raw scores of the individual sections of the California Achievement Test.
Families who request a composite score will receive (in addition to the individual results provided for the seven subject areas) composite score results in raw score, percentile, and stanine rank formats. A grade equivalent composite score is not available.
To include a composite score with your test results, simply check the "Composite Scoring" option.
What is Composite Scoring?
** Christian Liberty does not require a composite score for enrollment into its homeschool academy.
Recommendation Service:
If you are unsure which curriculum materials to choose based on the achievement test scores, Christian Liberty offers two different curriculum recommendation services to provide guidance in this area:
Basic Service – provides a subject-by-subject listing of recommended curriculum materials (from those offered through Christian Liberty) based solely on the CAT scores. Premium Service – currently unavailable |
Both services can take a few business days to complete.
After testing is completed:
If you decide to enroll your student into the Christian Liberty Academy School System (CLASS) within six months after receiving the test results, the cost of the test will be deducted from your student's tuition fee. However, if you enroll your student in a grade level using a different test than the one he or she originally took, the test cost will not be deducted from your student's tuition fee.

Quick feedback
I'm so glad that I found Christian Liberty Press's online CAT test a few months back. I've purchased 3 online CAT tests since then and have been happy with it's ease of use for my children (9,11, and 13)and I, and it's quick response.Thank you for providing it.

Painless
We decided to take the online route and not bother with the paper test or asking a friend to proctor. My eighth grader felt more relaxed and said that he much preferred the online process and experience. The test results came within the hour of completing it. We will definitely go with online testing from now on.

Fantastic!!
I love that this is now administered in the privacy of your home and my child feels comfortable as apposed to going someplace unfamiliar to take the test.
-
CAT accurate as always
The CAT test gives a congruent picture of the students scores and percentages.

Easy Peasy for Little Cheesy
Convenience at a good price! My son enjoyed the online experience, but was initially frustrated with the time constraints. He learned how to pace himself and was shocked by how many questions he could answer in a short period of time. The paper products are so inconvenient and you have to be very careful that your child doesn't mark the booklet. I will buy this product again.

Awesome Test!
My 2nd, 4th, and 9th graders took the online test with great results! Will definitely use again! Had to help with instructions on a few but that was all. Thank you Christian Liberty for providing this service.

Excellent!
My first grader took this test for NC homeschool requirements. It was easy to follow and the results were immediate which I liked. The moderator online guided him through the process. I would start him on the section and then leave the room. He was able to complete the entire test very quickly. I have already recommended this to many of my homeschool friends.

Wish I had gone with the paper test this year.
Last year I used this test and loved it! This year, unfortunately, the company had problems while my kids were taking it. Several tests had to be restarted and in the end, my kids had some scores that were not accurate. One kid completed all the tests, but one of the scores showed up as something crazy, like the 7th percentile, when the grade equivalent score was several grades above her actual grade level. I called customer service, who promised to have it looked into. The percentile problem was fixed, but two weeks later I have still not been contacted regarding the other issues, and have only been offered to have my child retake yet another test. As I pointed out, how do I know all the other tests my kids took were scored appropriately? My 8th grader is looking into a math and technology based magnet school for next year and I need to have accurate results, but I'm just not getting them. We will use the paper tests next year, and at this rate, it will be from someone else!
