This course teaches fundamental properties and behavior of matter and energy with a focus on their chemical and physical interactions. It includes application to familiar processes and devices. It also provides a basic introduction to the mathematical aspects of science, laying a firm foundation for future studies in chemistry, physics, and other fields.

Requirements
Complete all "Practice," "Section Review," and "Chapter Review" questions, as well as the 16 tests. The textbook exercises are to be graded by the instructor; tests will be graded by Christian Liberty Homeschools (CLH).
There is no lab requirement for this course. If you wish to add a lab component (34 experiments) that you would complete independently and not return to CLH, you may purchase our physical science lab kit.
