We have a controversial history is the US, and no matter what one's personal views on "which side" they agree with the most; taking lessons and learning about those that came before us is essential. Stuart was an interesting person and is worth remembering, and this book does a good job at giving the reader insight into his life and the influence he held in his position. Our children need to know about our history and this book is one that spurns on critical thought; a skill that is eroding in today's youth.
