Product Description
This is the first course in our Adventures in Phonics series. Learning phonics is fundamental for children to develop proper reading skills. This workbook begins a formal study of phonics — starting with short vowel sounds and logically progressing through consonants, long vowels, and beyond. It includes consistent drills and repetition of the basic skills that will help ensure comprehension. Perforated pages make the daily assignments easy to complete.
Phonics A is designed to work with our kindergarten phonics readers, where students are prompted to begin reading once the phonics concepts for a given title have been studied.

Very good curriculum
I have been using this book for my 5 year old this year and she loves it! I did try going through it a little bit when she was 4, but it seemed a little bit too difficult for her at that age. I did also purchase the teachers manual with this book and it is very clear about what to do in a daily basis. I couldn’t recommend more!

excellent resource to teach reading
I used this phonics program in kindergarten and first grade with my daughter and at age 7 she is reading absolutely everything. Not only is she reading, but her comprehension matches her reading level. I believe this phonics program is an absolute for preparing and equipping kids to read. I am using it this fall for my 5 year old, who is starting kindergarten. I'd like to add that my sister used it with both of her kids, who then went on to public school and they tested in the very top percentile in reading.
