Great book with a great message - even for those above the 5th grade
I got this for my son, who is in 8th grade. I wanted to (and still want to) encourage him to read more godly works. At times, getting him to read such works can be a challenge. (He seems drawn to works dealing with magic/sorcery.) He thoroughly enjoyed the story. I did, too. I loved how the author rewrote the story of Pinocchio entwining Biblical truths. The messages contained in the story were easily absorbed by my son. For the first time I think my son took a real interest in a Christian based fictional story. That is very, very cool and much appreciated.
