The strength of the Journey Through the Bible series lies in its ability to have students encounter the biblical text firsthand through manageable daily readings. This course is designed for an entire school year and is divided into four units totaling 160 lessons. This first course in the series guides students through the Pentateuch and historical books of the Old Testament.
This student textbook includes several black and white illustrations, maps, and charts. Each lesson (except for the final review lessons) includes outside Bible reading, commentary within the textbook that helps to bring clarity to the student’s Bible reading, and thought questions. It is designed to work closely with the accompanying student exercises workbook.
