This teacher's manual is designed to "get you started" teaching Arithmetic 2. It starts by looking at the components of a daily math lesson (what you and your student should include in each day's class). It then identifies where you will find the learning objectives for each chapter of the workbook. To help you create an overall lesson plan, sample lesson plans are given for the first week of the course. There is also a section on teaching ideas and strategies, should your student be struggling with a particular concept. Finally, there are tables in the back showing the addition and subtraction families for 1–18, as well as tables for multiplying and dividing by 1–5 and 10.
